Well the New Year is well underway and for most the Christmas period in farming is like any other day, the animals don't know the difference between one day or another, if its Christmas or not they still need tending to. This is something that we would not change for the world, as we have said on many occasion our alpacas provide us the lifestyle that we lead and keep us in a warm and cosy home, so tending to the alpacas and caring for them is part and parcel of breeding animals, looking after them and giving them the best we can provide is something we pride ourselves on.
So this week has been exceptionally busy for us as we have had a 2nd year veterinary student here with us. Anjali has been coming to our farm for work experience ever since she first started studying and its great to see how Anjali has progressed each time she comes back for further work experience.
Its an earlier night for us tonight as we didn't get much sleep last night with the wind blowing, so here is hoping for a more settled night than the last.
Thats all for tonight
