Well apologies for the quietness of the blog lately we have had our hands rather full but more on that on another blog to come.
On Saturday we had visitors from Lopham Alpacas in Norfolk who had travelled to WillowBank to come and pick up their new potential herd sire, WillowBank High Flyer.
WillowBank High Flyer was sired by Wellground Close Encounter and his dam is Wellground Beyond Compare. With genetic make up of Cambridge Encounter, Jolimont Conquistador, EP Cambridge Jewel, EP Cambridge Commish Lad, Jolimont Commisario, WillowBank High Flyer is going to make a fantastic edition to Lopham Alpaca herd. Good Luck guys, we wish you all the best.
Today Sunday, brought us more visitors, this time from Brockadale Alpaca Stud in Yorkshire. Denise and her son Oliver came down for a look at our alpacas and of course we can't help but want to show them off, so with all the alpacas in the barns nice and dry we couldn't help but have a good look through the fleeces and the up and coming cria that have been born this year.
I can quite happily say that we have got some stunners, the only question we ask ourselves now is which ones do we keep and which one do we sell? We can see this is not going to be an easy decision to make when the time comes. Denise and Oliver have really taken a liking to a particular alpaca but unfortunately we are not aloud to say anything just incase another purchaser wants to snap up any of these alpacas we have for sale, all that we can say is that if you are thinking about possibly wanting to purchase any of the alpacas we have for sale, please don't leave it until the last minute, as with the amount of enquiries we are receiving at the minute our alpacas are moving on to new homes and deposits have been placed. Please call us if you are interested in any of our alpacas for sale.
Well you may recall at the beginning of this blog I said that we have had our hands rather full, well the next blog will explain all, Its going to be titled "Alpaca Suffered With Choke" this was scary. More on that in the next blog, for now though, thats all for today
